About Michelle
Michelle Peasak has a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing from Fairmont State University. She is assisted by her husband, Tim Peasak, and her mother, Donna Rizzo Wilson. Wilson’s specialty is the creation of flower arrangements for centerpieces. Peasak and her team rent to their clients the elements of decor, then come on-site and create their vision. She consults from the Blake Center in Bridgeport. Rented items may include floral backdrops, various signs, marquee light-up letters, deco mesh, and candle centerpieces.
Michelle decorates pretty much any kind of party – birthdays, graduation, memorials, weddings, bridal and baby showers, gender reveals and charity balls. “For a kid’s birthday, it’s fun to create a deco mesh centerpiece and put something from whatever theme they’re wanting inside,” Peasak said.
In recent months, the team has decorated for a football tailgate, hosted by Building Hope, an anti-bullying charity. The event featured a blue and gold color scheme. On some tables were football centerpieces. Others were decorated with floral centerpieces. For the Fairmont Senior Homecoming, A Touch of Elegance utilized school colors and mascot to create a blue, white, and silver scape accented with paw prints, a circular balloon arch, and a backdrop.

I had Touch of Elegance Event Decor decorate my venue for my wedding and Michelle and her mom made my vision come to life! I came to the first meeting with a bunch of “ideas” and was all over the place, Michelle and her mom helped me sparse out every single detail from flowers to candles to the color of table runners. Touch of Elegance took my idea for a pink winter-themed baby shower and made it a reality. Everything from the table centerpieces to the flower wall, to the “BABY” marquee letters, was perfect. I also loved that setup and tear-down were provided so I could enjoy my day without worrying about anything. I can't recommend Touch of Elegance enough and can't wait to work with them for future events.
